Sometimes I worry that I share too much on social media with pictures and updates about my journey and struggles … and wonder if people are bored of it … and then I get notes like this from a total stranger and decide it’s okay to put myself out there; and get out of my comfort zone –if it helps other folks along. I got this note yesterday.
“Just wanted you to know that in the past month, I have lost 7 pounds. Drinking a gallon of water a day. Leg ulcers from venous stasis have closed. I am walking 3 miles a day again. You inspired me. Thank you.”
Then I got a message from a lady I DO know in my mom group who said she found my story inspirational and I had no idea she even really knew my story or even paid attention, lol. You really just never know who’s watching. So I apologize if I annoy anybody, truly.
SO…check this out … these two pictures were taken almost a year apart exactly. The red shirt pic was taken today. The other one is with my amazing cousin (more like a sister) bff Angel last year.
What a difference a year makes, huh?
As always, make champion choices,
The Healthy Habit Lady
Congratulations!
And MERRY CHRISTMAS!
You are an inspiration.
I too am a mother of four and though I am only 5 feet tall, I weigh 208 lbs – more than I have ever weighed – pregnancies included. I just don’t know where to start. I was hoping you could give me a few pointers. I’d like to be around to enjoy my grandchildren, you know?
Thank you.
