Today is the last day of February. It’s a short month. It’s a cold month (many places anyway). It’s the best time of the year to buy a vehicle, you’re likely to get a good deal. So that is exactly what we did this week, we bought a new truck.
Meanwhile, every four years, you get an extra day in February. LEAP Day. Next year, in 2016, we’ll get another one. Seems to me that this day, right here and right now, would be an amazing time to set an awesome goal. Like a big hairy scary bodacious goal. Pick a goal that freaks you out just a bit and frightens you to your core. Then once you have that goal set, reverse engineer it into an action plan. Write out your Steps. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time~ How did I lose over 175 pounds? Five pounds at a time 🙂 Seriously, I set 5 pound goal increments as miniature goals. Small victories feed into big victories.
I challenge you to set a goal that you will celebrate on Leap Day 2016. I encourage you to tell people about your resolve. Who needs New Year’s resolutions when you can have Leap Day Resolutions, right? You know you wanna.
As always, make champion choices,
The Healthy Habit Lady
Great post, but I can’t think of one goal that frightens me to the core that isn’t also bad for me in some way (doing a figure show comes to mind, but it requires doing stuff to my body that really messes with my head in regards to food and body image). You are imaginative! Any ideas for me?

Maybe it doesn’t have to frighten you to your core; but maybe you need to have your cookbook published before leap day 2015.

Ummm….. That would be today!
Assuming you mean 2016, I would love to, but I’m stuck because I don’t have the wherewithal or resources to finish the task. Praying God puts someone in my life with the capabilities. I’ve gone as far as I can on my own.
