Well everybody knows I am all about healthy habits. One healthy habit I have had since 2003 is hosting and working with high school foreign exchange students. Yes, I have willing brought in teenagers from other countries into my home and let them live with me for anywhere between a few months to 12 months. I have hosted kids from Russia, France, Germany, Spain, Mongolia, Taiwan, Australia, Hong Kong, Brazil, The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Korea. Let me tell you, it has been wondering raising my own children to embrace cultural diversity. They have broken bread with, traveled with and lived with people from all parts of the globe who know other languages, have different religions, practice different customs, celebrate different holidays, and so on and so forth.
You know what else is awesome? You can participate in this amazing experience as well. My day-job is Regional Director for a non-profit organization called Face The World. This is something I am very passionate about. I just love being a cheerleader for these kids and families and help making dreams come true, while forging lifelong relationships across the Globe.

Right now, we are accepting Host Family applications and have limited school slots across the U.S.This is such a wonderful program and experience for your family.
